[Question] More COVID questions! Anyone requiring testing to return to the office? There is a test shortage at the moment so I'm at a loss on how to keep the office safe for all when vaccine/booster doesn't mean you can't get it. For those back in the office, do you just require testing after there has been a confirmed case? We had people do rapids this morning and had to send people home with positive tests but this is not sustainable....

  • A1: We ask anyone who wants to work from the office to do an antigen test each day they wish to work from the office. We supply the antigen tests (which is rather challenging at the moment) or allow employees to expense antigen tests if we’ve run out of office supplies.

  • A2: For us, we follow the guiding principle to not go above what the governments are requiring and recommending, so currently no (with the disclaimer I have not kept perfectly up to date on the US the past couple of weeks)

  • A3: I would feel more comfortable with antigen per day in the office, but that is unfortunately not possible with the shortages here and the insane testing lines where we are. Thanks for sharing!!

  • A4: For those who have been in close contact with a confirmed case or have a confirmed or suspected case themselves, we are requiring proof of a negative test result (administered by a healthcare professional, can be antigen or PCR), before they are allowed re-entry to the office.
