I have a few things happening in parallel right now so a couple of updates and a share this week. I’m designing and adding content while also designing some of the onboarding resources and collateral to help new users get acclimated to the Academy.
Below is v1 of the first tutorial video on creating your account when you first join the Academy. It includes some of the initial calibration steps for the machine learning component that will personalize course recommendations to each user. You can check it out below. 👇🏼

[Question] HALP! I've been struggling to hire a People Ops Manager in Europe (I've ended up with an awesome Canadian candidate, but I want to keep going for #2 on this role and at this point, it's got to be Europe). Does anyone have good strategies for targeting HR communities in Europe?I want to avoid the LinkedIn barrage if I can, but of course I will go that route if needed.
A1: I’m in a couple of UK-centric People groups, if you want me to share?
A2: I'm also part of one European People community (heavy focus on UK companies but goes a little wider too). I'd be happy to share if you send me the link.
A3: If it's France I know of one in French. Also heard if one in AMS that I could email about if helpful.
A4: Yes! I will take any referrals I can get, thank you so so much! The language of the business is English but the person can be based anywhere in Europe
A5: I just sent to my contact in the AMS group and one in the French one. I see the salary is listed in USD which might be confusing?
A6: Yeah, we pay in USD because as a company we technically hire remote. This job is a little unique for the business (and technically we'd hire anyone in those timezones, even outside of Europe). I am kind of targeting Europe without deviating too too much from base company practices.
A7: It makes sense, you might just want to add some explanation next to the salary if it's easy to do as I find the anti-US-centric sentiment runs pretty strong here in Europe.
A8: I've posted it now - sounds like a really great role!
A9: That makes a lot of sense - thank you!
