I launched Amplify Talent four years ago, at a time when Employer Brand was just beginning to emerge as a core component to modern recruiting. It was a time of transition, as I stepped away from 15 years of corporate recruiting and HR leadership roles to go out on my own and try something new.
I often joke my career spirit animal is a designer. I have a deep appreciation for great design and my first logo was very important to me. I had clear ideas of what I wanted - and what I didn't want - to visually represent my business. I fell in love with the concept below, and that became the visual identify for Amplify Talent.
Over the past four years, Amplify Talent has evolved into three distinct lines of business: Amplify Talent (Employer Brand strategy), Amplify Recruiting (recruiting process optimization/modernization), and Amplify Search (Executive search).
I began thinking about rebranding. I wanted a logo that better reflected the business as it is today with a design that was more flexible, minimal, and understated. I wanted to design it myself (see spirit animal reference above), and went through many iterations before landing on something that felt right.
I'm excited to share the new Amplify logo:
The new logo preserves the color scheme of the Amplify Talent roots, but trades the chrome shield for the new double slash visual. The double slashes represent several things.
1. Amplify's three lines of business:
AMPLIFY will become the master brand, with flexibility for the sub-brands tailored to each engagement.
2. The slashes also represent Amplify's three core areas of focus: Culture // Talent // Brand.
3. Lastly, the slashes represent Amplify's connection and partnership with clients: AMPLIFY // Hootsuite, AMPLIFY // SpaceX, etc.
I'll be updating our social platforms and content to reflect the new logo in the coming weeks.
