I'll be attending my first Sourcecon conference in March. I'm presenting on a topic I've been thinking about a lot lately. The general premise is that there's never been a better time to work in recruiting. More specifically, I'll be sharing insights and career advice from a broad range of leaders in different areas of recruiting, as well as my own journey through a broad mix of roles, industries and companies.
You can listen to a preview below.

What Do You Want To Do?
With the abundance of different career paths, your answer to that question can be much more complex than just "recruiting".
The ideal skill set you might need can vary broadly based on the field you want to pursue. The slide below is an example from my presentation breaking down and rating some of the skills I think are important for my particular area (Corporate Recruiting & Employer Brand Strategy and Executive Search).
My session will breakdown skills in a variety of other areas including Sourcing, International Recruiting Leadership, Consulting, and more.
If you can't make it to Seattle, join the conversation on Twitter at #SourceConCC. My session will be Wednesday 3/25 from 11a-12p pm PST. I'll make the deck available on my Slideshare channel following the conference.
Hope to see you there!
